What is an Armoured door ?

An Armoured door is a security door in which both the panel and the frame are made of steel .
 

The lock, bolts and hinges are integrated in the structure so that they don´t weaken while being manufatured, (as it usually happens in reinforced doors, see section "What is a Reinforced door"?.)
 

In general, most armoured doors have the same characteristics but they are not necessarily the same: they vary depending on the type of door you choose, they can be manufactured with just one side steel reinforced or both, with locks and cylinders of higher or lower quality, cheaper, and with different grade category in resistance against attack .
 

Each company decides how to manufacture their own products, but clients might be deceived by thinking that all doors are armoured in the same way as the best option (this usually happens with most of the products in the market.)
 

Certainly, you should be able to demand that a security door regardless being manufactured steel armoured or reinforced acts as a barrier against attack, that is what they are designed for.
