National Police dismantled an organised gang specialized in forced burglaries in "Fuengirola" Malaga. The gang forced the homes doors to gain access by using corkscrews, resbalon or escalo. 

The gang was specialized in opening front doors by forcing the cylinder and extracting it with the use of a device known "corkscrew". 

In this operation three persons had been arrested alleged suspects of 58 home burglaries in the Costa del Sol. The access to the houses were made by using "corkscrews", "slips" or "escalo".
 

This method of opening doors is very common among the intruders. The removal of the cylinder can be avoided by reinforcing the lock area, "the door heart".
